‘Pix’ Maury

Hello, my fellow classmates. I don’t know how many of you remember me from High School, I didn’t belong to any clubs or organizations but I am bolder now and have made friends through our reunions.
Life after the 12th grade became a whole lot more interesting and challenging which suited me well. I went on to college, first Clarke then WSU. After that I joined my family who had moved to Kalama, WA. and ended up staying there. I married a local boy with deep roots in the community. When we married I became related to 1/2 the town which thrilled me because I only had 4 cousins in the USA and an extended family felt right.
I have had a varied work life. I worked in all phases of retail for 20 years including owning my own shop. When I saw small shops failing everywhere because of malls and box stores I jumped ship and went back to school giving me my paralegal papers. I worked for the State of Washington in the CPS department helping kids get a better living environment. I retired after my husbands death. Now I do as I please, when I please and with who I please ... life is great, I might still have a good bit of hippie in my spirit, some things never change.
I have gotten to travel extensively, met some wonderful people, seen some fabulous places and eaten some great food. Who could want more?
I’m glad I got to spend part of my youth with you guys even if I didn’t know you on a personal level, we share a history of a very interesting time and that will bind us together forever. Much love to you all!
